Celine Kobierzynski
Céline Kobierzynski is a Belgian portrait painter of realistic style.
Always passionate about art, it is in this branch that she orients her studies, then specializes in oil painting portraits as a self-taught.
Since 2022, her paintings have been exhibited across Europe, notably in Rome, Venice, London, Munich, Vienna, and Paris for contemporary art exhibitions.
My artistic practice stems from a need to explore and express emotions and silence. Each painting becomes a space for introspection, exploring what words alone cannot fully convey.
Light and colors dance across faces where gazes and postures alternately confront and withdraw, longing to be understood, seen, then secluded and solitary. Time is suspended, silence is golden; light traces bodies through the mystery of night and the softness of dawn.
Recently, I have found myself returning to the origin of my passion: myths, life and death, intertwined with my personal experiences — the metamorphosis and rebirth of the human soul within the darkness of the mind.
Sometimes words are far too limited to express a lingering sensation, the weight of the soul, or the nostalgia for what could have been. Painting offers the possibility of sharing emotions regardless of language or personal experience, opening a space for introspection: from empathy to the confrontation with our own feelings.
